Message look at rolling ball tests, synthetic oil will protect better and provide less friction. The temperature range is greater as well and in a turbo car regular oil can get cooked in the turbo oil lines

Yes synthetic oil wont break down as fast as normal oil, but if you change your oil every 3k it dosent really matter. Use it for its other benifical qualities
